Vine, Verse and Rhythm - The Literary club of KVM College of Arts and Science College got inaugurated on 14th February 2023 at the Seminar hall. Our chief guest for the function was Dr. Rosa Juju Joseph, who is a renowned poetess, a retired English professor of St.Joseph’s College for Women and lately with Naipunya School of Management. Fortunately the third semester students brought forth good results in their university exams for which both the students and teachers were appreciated for their hard work.
Entrepreneurship Development club was formally inaugurated by Sri. Joy Sebastian, CEO, Techgentsia on 21 February 2023. The programme was presided by Principal Prof (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri. A logo also was launched by the chief guest. The programme was meticulously organised by ED Club co ordinators Smt. Saneesha Sajeev S and Smt. Anju Antony.
Civil Service club named 'Projwalam' was inaugurated by Dr. Neethu Sona, IIS, Director, Central Bureau of Communication, Kerala and Lakshadweep region. The programme presided by Prof (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri, Principal, KVM College of Arts and Science. Paper presentation and Quiz competition were conducted under the auspicious of civil service club. Smt. Sudha S Namboothiri IIS, Deputy Director, Central Bureau of Communication and Ms. Anitha Sekhar Assistant Professor of English offered felicitations. Programme was organised by civil service co ordinators Ms. Nisha. M and Ms. Sanju saji.
Eco-Nature club 'Aaranyakam' was inaugurated by Sri. K Saji, Deputy Conservator of Forests, Social Forestry Division, Alappuzha on 3rd March 2023. A fruit garden also was initiated as part of Eco-Nature club inauguration. 30 tree saplings were planted on the occasion. KVM CEO Adv. Rajesh and heads of various institutions planted tree saplings. The programme was presided over by Prof. (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri, Principal, KVM College of Arts and Science and programme was co ordinated by Smt. Lekshmi R Nair and Ms. Renjini. R.
Womens' Day celebration of KVM College of Arts and Science was inaugurated by Dr. Devi K Varma Assistant Professor of Malayalam, SD College, Alappuzha and former News Reader of Kairali TV on 8 March 2023. Kathaprasangam ' Ayisha' was presented by Kadhika Seena Pallikkara and team. The programme was sponsored by the Central Bureau of Commission.
An awareness programme by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Govt of India conducted in Varanad campus on 09 March 2023. NDRF group leader Mr. Sanjeev Deswal led the programme. The programme was very informative to students as well as Teachers. Rescue operations in various situations as well as first aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques were demonstrated by the NDRF team.
The film and Drama club 'BHAAVA' was launched by popular cine Artist Mr. Kalesh Ramanand on 10 March 2023. Short film by students also was released on the occasion. The programme was presided over by Prof (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri, Principal, KVM College of Arts and Science. Head of MCA Mrs. Darshana and Public School Head Mr. Tomy Anthraper offered felicitations. The programme was meticulously co ordinated by Ms. Karthika and Ms. Sanju Saji.
An ASAP awareness programme was initiated by KVM College of Arts and Science on 15 March 2023. ASAP Co ordinator Smt. Sreelekshmi K. R elaborated on Career to Campus mission promoted by Government of Kerala.

National Service Scheme of KVM College of Arts and Science organized a seven day special camping programme. The Programme was held at KVM College campus from 17 January 2023 to 23 January 2023. Awareness programme, Neighborhood visit, cleaning activities, Planting of trees, Orphanage visit and socio-economic health survey were conducted as part of the camp. Cherthala Municipality Chairperson Mrs. Sgerly Bhargavan inaugurated the camp. Prof. (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri, Principal, KVM College of Arts and Science presided over the function. NSS Programme Officer Sri Sinumon T G co ordinated the programme.
The college Arts day was organized with various competitions and entertainment programmes. The programme highlighted with the performance of KVM MCA and B.Tech students. And Arts day was inaugurated with lighting the lamp by famous play back singer Sudeep Kumar. The programme was Presided over by Prof (Dr) E. Krishnan Namboothiri. MCA head Ms. Darshana offered felicitation.
The annual sports day of the college was conducted with various Athletics and Games competitions. The programme was inaugurated by V.G Vishnu, District Olympics Association President.
Two days activity oriented free residential camp for Higher Secondary students will be conducted in Varanad Campus on 17,18 April 2023. The programme will be organized in association with Malayala Manorama, and University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau, University of Kerala. Career Expert Mr. Ratheesh Kumar will be the Director of the Camp. Programme includes treasure Hunt of Radio Mango, Psychometric Career Aptitude Test, Career Interest Test, Career counseling, Life skills and Personality development , Ice breaking, Meditation, Cultural Programmes etc.
